Short Matters! is organised by the European Film Academy and EFA Productions in co-operation with a series of film festivals throughout Europe, including Berlin, Tampere and Bristol. At each of these festivals, an independent jury presents one of the European short films in competition with a nomination in the short film category of the European Film Awards.
This year PÖFF Shorts finds itself with the freshest selection of new shorts, with the final nominee only being announced a few weeks ago. This year’s selection includes the winner of this year’s Best Short at the Venice Film Festival and the chance to check out last year’s Sleepwalkers International Live Action winner.
